No experience needed! The Open Water Course is designed for complete beginners. We start in the pool to teach you all the basics step by step before heading into the ocean.
Will I get a PADI
license after the course?
Yes! You’ll become a PADI Open Water Diver, certified for life to dive anywhere in the world up to 18 meters — it’s your international passport to the underwater world.
3. What if I feel nervous about diving?
Totally normal! Most people feel that way at first. We take it slow, start in the pool, and move only when you feel ready. Your instructor stays right beside you the whole time — and that’s exactly why we’re the only dive center on Gilis that takes a maximum of two students per instructor. Once you take your first breath underwater, the nerves disappear — promise.
