Specialities
PADI Specialty Courses are the next step after your certification — designed to help you explore the kind of diving you actually enjoy.
Whether you want to go deeper, stay longer, take better photos, or discover new environments like wrecks or night dives, each specialty builds real confidence and experience in the water.
At Gili Scuba Diving, we keep everything private, hands-on, and personal — with a maximum of 2 divers per instructor. No rush, no big groups — just real learning, at your pace.
Most specialties include 2 to 4 dives, and every course is built around making you a better, more aware diver — not just giving you a certification.
Certified diver (minimum PADI Open Water or equivalent)
No alcohol or hangover before diving

Most specialties are completed over 1 to 2 days, depending on the number of required dives and conditions.

Yes — it’s one of the most useful certifications you can have. You’ll be able to stay longer underwater and reduce surface intervals, especially on multiple dives or dive trips.
Can I combine multiple specialties?
Yes — many divers choose to combine specialties to save time and improve faster. We can help you plan the best combination based on your schedule.
3.Are the courses private or in groups?
All our specialties are private and personalized, with a maximum of 2 divers per instructor. This means more attention, better learning, and a more relaxed experience.
