Yes! Once certified, you’ll be a PADI professional, able to guide certified divers and assist instructors anywhere in the world.
And at Gili Scuba, there’s even an opportunity to work with us — we only hire Divemasters and Instructors we’ve personally trained.
Do I need certifications before starting?
Yes — you’ll need to have completed PADI Open Water, Advanced, Rescue, and EFR (First Aid & CPR) before starting the Divemaster course.
If you don’t have them yet, no worries! Our Zero to Hero and Pro Package options take you all the way from beginner to Divemaster with discounted training and full mentorship.
3. What’s the next step after Divemaster?
If you want to keep going, the next step is the PADI Instructor Course (IDC) — and we’ll make sure you’re ready for it. At Gili Scuba, we don’t just train Divemasters — we prepare you to become an Instructor, confident and fully ready to join the IDC and pass your IE.
